Transmission:
We often unconsciously touch our face (Eyes,nose and mouth), allowing the virus to enter our body. Face mask can be effective to help avoid touching your nose and mouth unconsciously.
Protection:
- If you are likely to be in close contact with someone infected, mask reduces the chance of the disease being passed on.
- If you are showing symptoms of coronavirus, or have been diagnosed, wearing a mask can also protect others.
Mask Care:
- Recommended to wash your mask after usage
-Hand wash gently using normal detergent for 20 secs and rinse thoroughly . Let the mask dry. Avoid using softener and bleaching agent
- The Hydrophobic treatment may last up to 10 washes if you follow the instructions.
Recommendation:
- You must avoid touching the surface of your mask once worn. Never touch the inside surface before washing your hands before and after.
- We recommend changing your mask if it becomes wet due to perspiration.
- This mask has been made using products that are readily available in Mauritius at the moment in an effort to fight covid-19 pandemic. It has not been tested medically.
- We have made these masks in an effort to help Mauritius population in its fight against the spread of the coronavirus.
- As any other mask, it does not provide a complete protection and must be ised in addition of a strict adherence to the foolowing practices:
-Practice social distancing
-Wash your hands as much as possible, with soap or alcohol sanitizer.
